A laminar flow hood uses a top-pressurized cabin fan to process cleanroom air through a HEPA filter, creating a vertical, unidirectional flow. This purification device can create a localized ISO 5 (Class 100) cleanroom area within a low-cleanliness environment. The device consists of core components such as a housing, fan, HEPA filtration system, and damping layer. Depending on the installation method, it is available in three types: suspended, floor-standing, and mobile. Its modular design supports standalone use or multi-unit assembly. Housing materials include industrial-grade stainless steel, aluminum, and cold-rolled steel with electrostatic spraying.

This device continuously delivers a purified airflow at a uniform velocity of 0.36-0.54 m/s, achieving a cleanliness standard of ≤3.5 particles/liter (≥0.5μm in diameter). It is primarily used to isolate critical processes in precision manufacturing industries such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, and food. Maintenance requires regular replacement of HEPA filters and monitoring of fan operation. During installation, ensure that technical specifications such as sealing, vibration isolation, and levelness tolerance of ≤1/1000 are met.
