Laminar flow hood is one of the devices that can shield and isolate operators from products, and its main purpose is to avoid product contamination. The air drawn from the clean room is then filtered vertically through the operating area using HEPA filters using a fan installed in the top pressurized compartment, providing ISO 5 (level 100) unidirectional flow air for critical areas. The exhaust gas is discharged from below and returned to the clean room area. It mainly consists of a box, a fan, a high-efficiency air filter, a damping layer, lighting fixtures, etc.
